TIMING: The NBA All-World Sweepstakes (the “Promotion”) starts at 10:30 a.m. Pacific Time (“PT”) on May 16, 2023 and ends at 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time (“PT”) on May 25, 2023 (“Promotion Period”).
ELIGIBILITY: Promotion is open to legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia (excluding residents of Alaska and Hawaii) who are (i) U.S., citizens or permanent residents at least eighteen (18) years old. Employees, officers, directors, representatives and agents of Niantic, Inc. (“Sponsor”), NBA Properties, Inc., NBA Media Ventures, LLC, the National Basketball Association (“NBA”), the Women’s National Basketball Association, the NBA 2K League, their collective member teams, and any applicable Players Union including but not limited to the National Basketball Players Association and the National Basketball Retired Players Association (collectively, the “NBA Entities”) (hereafter collectively, “Released Parties”), and each such individual’s immediate family members (mother, father, sister, brother, child, husband, wife and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and those living in their same households, whether or not related, are not eligible to participate in the Promotion or receive a prize. The information you provide as detailed below will only be used for Promotion purposes. Void in Alaska, Hawaii and where prohibited by law. Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.
HOW TO ENTER: During the Promotion Period, using your mobile device, navigate to the app store where you can download and install the free NBA All-World game (the “App”), available for download on iPhone* and Android* mobile devices. Then, follow the instructions to create an App account (if you have not done so already).
Throughout the Promotion Period you will have the opportunity to receive “Golden Tickets” by completing certain actions within the App as follows;

Each Golden Ticket received will be considered an “Entry” into the random drawing (as further outlined below). Entries must be received by May 25, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. PT in order to be eligible. Entries generated by script, macro or other automated means and Entries by any means which subvert the entry process are void.
Limit of one hundred (100) Entries per person per calendar day throughout the Promotion Period. You may only use one (1) email address to enter the Promotion. Entries received from any person or email address in excess of the daily limitation stated above will be void. All Entries become the sole property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. Entries generated by script, macro or other automated means and entries by any means which subvert the entry process are void. All entries become the sole property of the Sponsor and will not be returned.
RANDOM DRAWING: One (1) potential Grand Prize winner and two (2) potential First Prize winners will be selected in a random drawing on or about May 26, 2023, from among all eligible Entries received throughout the Promotion Period. Odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received throughout the Promotion Period.
WINNER NOTIFICATION: Sponsor’s decisions are final and binding on all matters relating to this Promotion. Potential winners will be notified by e-mail and may be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release, and, where lawful, a publicity release within five (5) days from date of issuance. If such documents are not returned within the specified time period, prize notification is returned as undeliverable, Sponsor is unable to contact a potential winner or a potential winner is not in compliance with these Official Rules, prize will be forfeited and, at Sponsor’s discretion, an alternate winner may be selected. If any potential winner is an eligible minor in his/her jurisdiction of residence, Sponsor reserves the right to award the prize in the name of his/her parent or legal guardian who will be responsible for fulfilling all requirements imposed on winners set forth herein.
GRAND PRIZE (1): Grand prize winner will receive a 3-day/2-night trip for winner and one (1) guest to one (1) 2023 NBA Finals game (exact game and location to be designated by Sponsor) consisting of round-trip economy-class air transportation from a major airport near winner’s residence to the designated location, standard double-occupancy hotel accommodations, and two tickets to the designated 2023 NBA Finals game. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of Grand Prize package: $5000. Actual prize value will vary depending on winner's city of departure and game location. Travel and hotel arrangements determined by Sponsor and must be made through Sponsors’ designated agent, on a carrier of Sponsor’s choice. Trip must be taken on dates and times designated by the Sponsor or prize will be forfeited in its entirety and may be awarded to an alternate winner. Winner and guest must travel together on the same itinerary. Guest must be of legal age of majority in his/her jurisdiction of residence (and at least 18) unless child or legal ward of winner. Winner and guest are responsible for obtaining all necessary travel documents prior to travel. In the event that the Grand Prize winner or his/her guest are unable to obtain travel documents prior to trip departure date outlined above the Grand Prize winner in question will forfeit the Grand Prize in its entirety and the Grand Prize may be awarded to an alternate potential winner. If the designated Game is canceled or postponed for any reason, travel prize will be awarded less applicable prize-related activity(s) and the Sponsor will substitute that activity(s) with an item(s)/activity(s) of comparable or greater value as determined solely by the Sponsor and no additional compensation prize will be awarded to winner in such event. Winner and guest must comply with arena rules and regulations. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of applicable prize element. Exact seat locations at games to be determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion. In the event that any portion of the prize is unavailable Sponsor may substitute with alternate opportunity or the portion of the prize may be unawarded. All prize details are at Sponsors’ sole discretion. Certain travel restrictions may apply. Costs and expenses associated with the acceptance and use of the Grand Prize not specified herein as being awarded, including, but not limited to, ground transportation and all other activities while on the trip are the winner’s sole responsibility. Grand Prize winner and their guest travel at their own risk and should purchase their own travel insurance and health coverage.
FIRST PRIZES (2): Each First prize winner will receive limited edition apparel collection: NBA All-World jersey, shorts, t-shirt & hoodie. ARV of each prize: $500.
PRIZE CONDITIONS: Prizes are awarded “as is” without any warranty or guarantee, either express or implied by Sponsors. All prize details are at Sponsors’ sole discretion. Prize images are for illustrative purposes only. Actual prizes may vary. The Sponsor is not responsible for and will not replace any lost, mutilated, or stolen prize(s) or any prize that is undeliverable or does not reach the winner because of an incorrect or changed address. If a winner does not accept or use the entire prize, the unaccepted or unused part of the prize will be forfeited, and the Sponsor will have no further obligation with respect to that prize or portion of the prize. Unclaimed prize(s) will be forfeited. No more than the stated prize(s) will be awarded..
All federal, state and local taxes and all other costs associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided are the sole responsibility of the winners. Prizes will be awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied by Sponsor. Winners may not substitute, assign or transfer prize or redeem prize for cash, but Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute a prize (or portion thereof) with one of comparable or greater value. All prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
GENERAL CONDITIONS: By participating, each entrant agrees: (a) to abide by these Official Rules and decisions of Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects relating to this Promotion; (b) to release, discharge and hold harmless Released Parties from any and all injuries, liability, losses and damages of any kind to persons, including death, or property resulting, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from entrant’s participation in the Promotion or any Promotion-related activity or the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize; and (c) to the use of his/her name, city/state of residence, voice, performance, photograph, video or film clips, caption, entry, and/or other likeness for programming, advertising, publicity and promotional purposes in any and all media, now or hereafter known, worldwide and on the Internet, and in perpetuity by Sponsor and its designees, without compensation (unless prohibited by law) or additional consents from entrant or any third party and without prior notice, approval or inspection, and to execute specific consent to such use. By participating, entrant also agrees not to release any publicity or other materials on their own or through someone else regarding their participation in the Promotion without the prior consent of the Sponsor, which it may withhold in its sole discretion.
MISCELLANEOUS: Released Parties are not responsible for postage-due mail or for lost, late, incomplete, damaged, inaccurate, stolen, delayed, misdirected, undelivered, or garbled Entries, or for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or other errors or difficulties of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, computer, network, typographical, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the Promotion, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the Promotion, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prizes, or in any Promotion-related materials. Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Promotion. Released Parties are not responsible for injury or damage to any person's computer related to or resulting from participating in this Promotion or downloading materials from or use of the website. Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of the Promotion or website, who act in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner or who are in violation of these Official Rules, as solely determined by Sponsor, will be disqualified and all associated entries will be void. Should any portion of the Promotion be, in Sponsor’s sole opinion, compromised for any reason, including virus, worms, bugs, non-authorized human intervention, epidemic, pandemic, an Act of God, or other causes which, in the sole opinion of the Sponsor, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play, or submission of entries, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Promotion (or portion thereof) and, if terminated, at its discretion, select the potential winners from among all non-suspect, eligible Entries received prior to action taken. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE PROMOTION PLATFORM OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PROMOTION MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK ANY AND ALL REMEDIES AVAILABLE FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.
ARBITRATION: Except where prohibited by law, as a condition of participating in this Promotion, participant (or participant’s parent or legal guardian, if a minor) agrees that (1) any and all disputes and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Promotion, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by final and binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association and held at the AAA regional office nearest the participant; (2) the Federal Arbitration Act shall govern the interpretation, enforcement and all proceedings at such arbitration; and (3) judgment upon such arbitration award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction. Under no circumstances will participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and participant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, or any other damages, including attorneys' fees, other than participant's actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e., costs associated with participating in this Promotion), and participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
CHOICE OF LAW: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of participant and Sponsor in connection with the Promotion, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the substantive laws of the State of California, USA.
